I'm Joe Philips and I formed The B.E.S.T. CEO Group three years ago to facilitate information sharing and problem solving among Chief Executives of San Diego based businesses.

We are a member based, confidential, peer advisory group representing diverse San Diego area businesses who share common economic, financial and operational challenges as well as opportunities.

The group's diversity fosters "out of the box" thinking and enables the discussion of options and alternatives that may have not been previously considered.

Members become stakeholders in the success of each other's businesses. Meetings are candid and direct with questions and suggestions to members' issues. We operate in today's reality, we are each other's advisors and we "give to" and "take from" the group.

Of course, I also share a keen interest in the success of your business. Beyond meeting regularly as a group, we meet face to face to better define, understand and resolve the areas influencing your business.

As a retired CEO myself, I understand the impact of managing our time, professional and personal. While the group requires a small investment in time on your part, members unequivocally agree the investment ultimately saves time.
